Terms of Service

MatchDirector is a tool for designing competitive shooting stages. You agree to use the platform for lawful purposes only. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the platform infrastructure

• Use the platform to store, share, or transmit content that is illegal or harmful

• Create accounts for the purpose of spamming, fraud, or misrepresentation

• Attempt to access other users' stage designs without their explicit permission

Stages you design in MatchDirector remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your stage layouts, designs, or creative work. You retain all rights to export, share, print, and use your stages however you choose.

Competitive Metrics LLC owns the MatchDirector platform, codebase, prop library, and all associated trademarks. You may not copy or reproduce the platform itself.

If you choose to make a stage public, it may be featured in the MatchDirector community stage library — a browsable collection of stages that other match directors can reference and adapt. You can opt out of community library inclusion at any time by setting your stage to private.

MatchDirector is provided as-is. We work hard to maintain uptime and reliability, but we make no formal guarantee of availability, data persistence, or uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime or data unavailability.

We recommend exporting a PDF of important stages as a local backup.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and — for material changes — notify users by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Competitive Metrics LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, for free-tier users, is $0).
